Uzbek National Pchak Knife 280/165 is a traditional handmade knife with the distinctive Pchak shape, a Damascus steel blade and wooden handle.

This is not merely a decorative item, souvenir or prop. The Pchak is a fully functional working knife with a Damascus steel blade, designed for practical kitchen use and food preparation.

The knife has an approximately 16.5 cm long and 4 mm thick Damascus steel blade. The total knife length is approximately 28 cm.

The Pchak can be used for a variety of everyday kitchen tasks, including cutting and preparing meat, vegetables, herbs and other food products.

Damascus steel is valued for good edge retention, wear resistance and its distinctive visual steel pattern. With proper use and care, the blade can maintain good working performance for a long time.

The handle is approximately 11.5 cm long and is made from wood. Due to the natural material and handmade production, the handle shade, wood grain, texture and individual finishing details may vary slightly between pieces.

CARE AND STORAGE

Use the knife for its intended culinary tasks and avoid cutting bones, hard materials and hard surfaces.

Wash the knife by hand in warm water with a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly after washing.

DAMASCUS STEEL CARE
After use, wash the knife by hand and dry it thoroughly. For longer storage, apply a very thin layer of food-safe oil or knife-care oil to the clean, dry blade. Do not leave the blade wet for prolonged periods and do not store a wet knife inside the sheath.

The Pchak can be sharpened using sharpening stones, ceramic tools or suitable sharpening equipment. During sharpening, it is important to maintain the correct blade angle and avoid excessive pressure or overheating the blade. If you do not have experience sharpening knives or are unsure about the correct technique, we recommend having the knife sharpened by an experienced specialist.
IMPORTANT
After use, wash and completely dry the knife. For longer storage, protecting the blade with a very thin layer of food-safe oil is recommended. Do not store a wet knife inside the sheath. Do not soak the wooden handle in water for extended periods. Proper use, cleaning, storage and sharpening will help keep the Pchak in good working condition.
