Juice presses: how to choose 10/15/20/25 L capacity and what to consider
More
Less

A manual juice press makes it easy to extract juice from apples, berries, grapes and other fruits. The choice usually comes down to two things: capacity (how much you want to process per batch) and how often you plan to press juice during the season.

1) Choosing the right press capacity

  • 10 L – for smaller batches and occasional use.
  • 15 L – a versatile home option and a popular “sweet spot”.
  • 20 L – if you press more often or want larger batches per cycle.
  • 25 L – for bigger volumes and “stock” batches with fewer repeats.

2) What affects the result (good to know)

  • Preparation: for better extraction, fruit/berries are usually crushed before pressing.
  • Batching: it’s easier to do several even loads than to overload the press in one go.
  • Frequency: if you press regularly, a larger capacity is usually more practical.

3) Quick choice in 20 seconds

  • Occasional and small: 10-15 L.
  • Regular seasonal use: 15-20 L.
  • Frequent and large volumes: 20-25 L.

Quick tip: tell us what you press most often (apples/berries/grapes) and your typical batch size, and we’ll recommend the best capacity.
