Stove for 16–22L Kazan with Chimney D44 cm, 3 mm is a practical, fully dismountable and easy-to-transport stove for cooking over an open fire outdoors, in the countryside or in the garden. It is designed for 16–22 litre kazans, but with suitable additional accessories it can also be used with Afghan pressure cookers, grates, frying pans, pots and other heat-resistant cookware.

The stove is made of black metal (standard steel). The body and bottom are made from 3 mm thick steel. The surface is coated with matt heat-resistant paint rated up to 800 °C. The coating improves the appearance of the stove and helps protect the metal during use, although the steel product still requires proper care and protection from moisture.

The overall outer diameter of the stove is 44 cm, while the inner diameter of the kazan opening is approximately 43.4 cm. The height from the ground to the body is 66 cm, while the total assembled height including the chimney reaches 173 cm. The stove weighs 21 kg.

The fully dismountable construction makes the stove convenient for transportation and storage. The chimney consists of one elbow and three separate sections. Each section is 35 cm long, while the pipe diameter is 8.5 cm. If necessary, the chimney can be extended by purchasing an additional section separately.

The chimney directs smoke above the cooking area, helping to keep it away from the cook’s face and making the stove considerably more comfortable to use. The combustion intensity and heat output can be regulated using the chimney damper, firebox door and pull-out ash pan.

It can be used with Uzbek cast iron kazans, Afghan pressure cookers, frying pans, pots and other suitably sized cookware. A cast iron grate or metal or cast iron ring set can be used for smaller-diameter cookware.

A cast iron grate can be used not only as a support for smaller cookware, but also for cooking meat, fish, vegetables and other food directly over the fire. A cast iron pan-lid can also be used. The grate, ring sets, pan-lid, side shelves, protective cover and additional chimney section are sold separately.

After cooking, the stove can also be used as an evening fire pit. The enclosed steel body keeps the fuel inside the stove, but it must only be placed on a stable, non-combustible surface at a safe distance from flammable materials.

Based on practical experience, with correct use and proper maintenance the approximate service life of the stove is 8–10 years. The actual service life depends on the intensity of use, type of fuel, operating temperature, storage conditions and protection of the metal against moisture.

Because the stove is made of standard steel, it must not be left wet, damp or exposed to precipitation for long periods. Once completely cooled, the stove should be cleaned, dried and stored in a dry place. A suitable protective cover is recommended to protect it from moisture and dust.

Construction features

Stove for 16–22L Kazan with Chimney D44 cm, 3 mm features a carefully designed construction that allows combustion to be controlled, heat to be used more efficiently and makes the stove easier to operate, clean, transport and store.

Smoke deflector

The deflector installed inside the stove near the chimney outlet prevents flames and hot flue gases from escaping directly into the chimney. It redirects heat through the inside of the stove, promotes more even heating of the bottom and sides of the kazan and allows the heat generated by the fuel to be used more efficiently.

Chimney with damper

The chimney directs smoke above the cooking area, while the built-in damper allows the user to regulate flue-gas flow, draught, combustion intensity and the amount of heat inside the stove.

Three methods of combustion control

The intensity of the flame and heat can be regulated using the chimney damper, pull-out ash pan and firebox door. Changing the position of these components adjusts the draught and the amount of air supplied to the fuel.

Door with three positions

The firebox door can be fully closed, left slightly open by placing the handle in the outer locking hole, or fully opened. This allows the airflow to be adjusted according to the required cooking mode.

Pull-out ash pan

Ash and small fuel residues collect in the pan, making the stove easier to clean after use. The ash pan can also be pulled out slightly to increase the airflow from below and intensify combustion.

External chimney retainer

The retainer located outside at the chimney outlet secures the pipe position at the connection point, reduces the risk of movement and helps prevent the chimney from falling due to wind or accidental impact.

Removable and securely fixed legs

The four legs are inserted into their designated mounting points and secured with bolts. When correctly assembled, the stove stands securely on the surface, while the legs can be removed after use so the construction takes up less storage space.

Side handles and optional shelves

The side handles make it easier to carry the stove once it has cooled completely. They can also be used to install optional side shelves, available separately.

Extendable chimney

The chimney consists of three 35 cm sections and one elbow. If additional height is required, an extra chimney section can be purchased separately.

Optimal 3 mm steel thickness

In practical use, 3 mm steel provides a good balance between durability, weight, heat retention and ease of transportation. Thicker metal is more suitable for stationary outdoor kitchens, while for this type of stove it significantly increases both the weight and cost of the construction.
