Afghan Kazan 20L M Polished Rashko Baba

Original Rashko Baba Afghan Kazan 20L M Polished is a practical pressure cooker and kazan in one product, suitable for preparing meat, pilaf, stews, soups, and many other dishes at home, in the garden, while camping, or over an open fire.

Thanks to its tightly closing lid, pressure builds up inside the kazan during cooking, so food cooks faster while staying juicy, aromatic, and rich in flavor. When needed, the kazan can also be used without pressure as a regular pot or as a vessel for frying.

This model is an original Rashko Baba Afghan kazan with a two-tone polished M finish. The M model is usually slightly lower and wider than the SB model. The polished lower part gives the kazan a more festive, decorative, and elegant appearance, making it a good choice as a gift as well.

The 20L size is suitable for approximately 8–15 people, depending on the type of dish, ingredients, and portion size. It is a convenient option for larger family meals, gatherings, events, outdoor trips, and open-air cooking.

The kazan is made of aluminum, and the wall thickness is approximately 11 mm. This construction helps distribute heat more evenly and maintain a stable cooking temperature.

This model can be used on a gas stove, electric stove, outdoor stove, open fire, campfire, and in a grill area with stable support. For use on an induction stove, a suitable induction adapter is required.

The manufacturer’s stated volume is 20 L, but the actual internal volume is approximately 14 L. For safe pressure cooking, the recommended working volume is around 9.3 L, because the kazan should not be filled more than 2/3 of its real internal volume.
