Uzbek Meat Knife 315/180 is a substantial handmade kitchen knife with a wide, curved blade, wooden handle and decorative engraving on the blade. Its shape is suitable for practical food preparation and particularly for working with meat.

This is not merely a decorative item, souvenir or prop. Uzbek Meat Knife 315/180 is a fully functional working knife with a bearing steel blade, designed for real kitchen use and food preparation.

The knife features a wide, curved bearing steel blade approximately 18 cm long and 4 mm thick. The total knife length is approximately 31.5 cm.

The wide blade shape provides comfortable control when cutting and preparing meat, vegetables, herbs and other food products. The knife is suitable for portioning, slicing and other everyday kitchen tasks.

The handle is approximately 13 cm long and is made from wood. Its curved shape provides a comfortable grip. Due to the natural wood and handmade production, the handle shade, wood grain, decorative grooves and finish may vary slightly between pieces.

The blade surface is complemented by a decorative animal motif. The specific engraving motif, its placement and execution may vary between individual pieces.

The knife weighs approximately 380 g, which together with the wide 4 mm thick blade gives it a substantial and stable feel during use. As the knife is handmade, all stated dimensions and weight should be considered approximate.

Bearing steel is not stainless steel. Exposure to moisture and insufficient care may cause the blade to oxidise and rust, so it should be dried thoroughly after use and a very thin layer of food-safe oil is recommended.

CARE AND STORAGE

PROPER USE
Use the knife for its intended culinary tasks. It is not intended for chopping bones, metal, frozen food or other very hard materials.
STORAGE
Store the knife dry and separately, avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
WASHING AND DRYING
Wash the knife by hand in warm water with a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly immediately after washing.
BLADE SHARPENING
The knife can be sharpened using sharpening stones, ceramic sharpening tools or suitable sharpening equipment.
BEARING STEEL CARE
Bearing steel is a ferrous steel, is not stainless steel and can rust. Moisture, food residue and prolonged improper storage may contribute to oxidation and rust formation. After use, wash the knife, dry it thoroughly immediately and apply a small amount of food-safe oil or knife-care oil to the clean, dry blade, creating a very thin protective layer.
ABOUT SHARPENING
The Uzbek meat knife can be sharpened using sharpening stones, ceramic tools or suitable sharpening equipment. During sharpening, it is important to maintain the correct blade angle and avoid excessive pressure or overheating the blade. If you do not have experience sharpening knives or are unsure about the correct technique, we recommend having the knife sharpened by an experienced specialist.
IMPORTANT
After every use, wash and completely dry the knife. For longer storage, applying a very thin layer of food-safe oil to the blade is recommended. Do not store a wet knife inside the sheath. Do not soak the wooden handle in water for extended periods. Despite its wide, substantial 4 mm thick blade, the knife is not intended for chopping bones or other very hard materials. Proper use, cleaning, oiling, storage and sharpening will help keep the knife in good working condition and extend its service life.
